Converts a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot into two M.2 NVMe bays plus an extra x8 PCIe x16 port, supporting 2230/2242/2260/2280/22110 SSDs and requiring motherboard bifurcation
This adapter converts a single PCIe 4.0 X16 slot into two M.2 NVMe bays and an additional PCIe X16 port operating at x8 signal. It targets desktop and workstation users who need extra high-speed storage alongside another expansion card. Builders without motherboard bifurcation support cannot use this product.
The card requires motherboard PCIe bifurcation to activate all ports simultaneously. Without this function, the M.2 slots and the extra PCIe port will not operate as intended. The secondary PCIe X16 slot delivers x8 electrical bandwidth, limiting throughput for devices installed there.
Compatible M.2 NVMe SSDs include 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 lengths. This range covers most mainstream drive sizes for flexible storage expansion. Drives using other interfaces or unsupported lengths will not fit or function.

The card accepts 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 M.2 NVMe drives, so choose the length that matches your SSD and available case space.
The adapter splits the x16 link into two NVMe x4 lanes and one PCIe x8 lane, giving each M.2 drive up to PCIe 4.0 x4 speed and the extra slot x8 speed.
The motherboard must divide the single x16 slot into multiple independent links so the two M.2 NVMe ports and the extra x8 slot can operate simultaneously.
