PCIe x1 to Mini SAS SFF8087 Adapter

This PCIe x1 card adds a Mini SAS SFF8087 connector that breaks out to four SATA 3.0 6Gbps ports. Four SATA 3.0 Ports via One x1 Lane

The adapter provides four independent SATA 3.0 6Gbps links for 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives or solid state drives. Bandwidth is limited by the single PCIe x1 interface, so sustained throughput across all four ports simultaneously will not reach the full 6Gbps per drive. It handles typical NAS workloads, RAID arrays and multi-disk storage upgrades well, but very heavy parallel transfers will saturate the host link.

Standard Bracket and Broad OS Support

A full-height PCIe bracket secures the card in standard desktop and server enclosures. The Mini SAS SFF8087 port requires a separate breakout cable to reach individual SATA drives, which is not included. The onboard controller chipset is designed for stable, long-term operation under continuous load.
