Classic 2D run-and-gun action

METAL SLUG 2 is the second entry in SNK's emblematic 2D run-and-gun action shooting series, delivered as a Steam download code for PC. The game brings the original arcade experience to modern systems with DotEmu handling the port alongside SNK CORPORATION. Players receive a digital licence that activates through Steam, requiring an account for installation and play.

Six arcade missions with stage select

The package includes the full arcade mode spanning six missions plus a mission mode that lets you replay any unlocked stage solo or in local co-op. Settings cover controls, language, video display and sound volume for a tailored experience. Online leaderboards track scores globally, though the title will not run on Windows XP and requires at least Windows Vista with a Pentium 4 2.4GHz processor and 1 GB RAM.

Steam DRM activation required

This product is a downloadable Steam code, not a physical disc, so a Steam account and internet connection are mandatory for activation and installation. The licence is tied to the Steam platform with no alternative DRM-free option provided. Buyers who want an offline installer or a boxed collector's edition should look elsewhere.
