What it is and who it's for

The SOEWIOU BS-52D is a compact retro Bluetooth 5.0 speaker finished in orange. It measures 4.3 by 3.3 by 2 inches and weighs 10 ounces. A built-in FM tuner, TF card slot, USB disk input and 3.5 mm auxiliary jack join the wireless link. The rechargeable battery delivers roughly 4 to 5 hours of playback. It suits listeners who want a portable vintage-styled audio device for desks, kitchens or outdoor use.

Deciding specification

Bluetooth 5.0 is the sole wireless protocol; there is no Wi-Fi, aptX or multi-room standard. If your source device only supports older Bluetooth versions the link will still work but without the stability gains of 5.0. Buyers who need voice-assistant integration, app-based EQ or multi-speaker party modes beyond simple TWS pairing will not find those functions here.

Installation and common issues

Pairing is standard: power on, select the speaker from the host device menu and connect. The package includes a USB Type-C charging cable and a 3.5 mm AUX cable for wired fallback. A frequent snag is forgetting to switch the input mode when changing between Bluetooth, FM radio, TF card or USB sources. The small rotary volume knob can feel stiff at first and the strap attachment point may loosen after repeated clipping to bags.
