E3.S 7.5mm PCIe 5.0 enterprise SSD storing 15.36TB on 176L TLC 3D NAND with up to 14500 MB/s read, 9300 MB/s write, 2750000 random read IOPS, 380000 random write IOPS.
Model 15.36TB E3.S Opal
The Solidigm D7-PS1010 is a 15.36 TB enterprise SSD built in the E3.S 7.5 mm form factor with a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface. It uses 176-layer TLC 3D NAND to deliver sequential reads up to 14500 MBps and writes up to 9300 MBps, suited for read-intensive server workloads.
This drive fits data-centre arrays, content-delivery nodes and warm-storage tiers that need high capacity and strong random read performance of 2750000 IOPS. It is not for write-heavy logging or OLTP systems that demand higher endurance than 1 DWPD, nor for desktop or laptop bays that only accept 2.5-inch or M.2 modules.
The drive is rated for one full drive write per day, equating to 28 PBW over its lifetime. That single figure decides whether the SSD matches the write intensity of the target application.
Measured against everything we stock in Server & Data Center SSDs, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
Slide the drive into the hot-plug E3.S cage until the connector seats, then secure the latch screw; the step often missed is confirming the backplane supports PCIe 5.0 x4 signalling for full 14500 MBps read speed.
No scheduled maintenance is required; the drive is rated for 1 DWPD and 28 PBW total writes, so plan replacement once the media approaches 28 PB written or the SMART wear indicator nears 100%.
The sequential write ceiling of 9300 MBps is reached before thermal throttling, as the controller maintains the 0°C to 77°C operating range under the rated 23W active load.
