Kit Contents and Intended Use

This kit pairs the Sony Alpha a7C mirrorless camera with the FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens and a 128GB SanDisk Ultra card rated at 140MB/s. It also includes an 82mm filter set, a card reader, a large gadget bag and cleaning accessories. The combination suits photographers and videographers who want a full-frame system in a compact body for everyday carry.

Sustained Operation

The camera records UHD 4K video at 30p with HLG and S-Log3 gamma profiles for extended dynamic range. Its 24.2MP Exmor R BSI sensor and BIONZ X processor deliver up to 15 stops of dynamic range and a top continuous shooting rate of 10 fps. The 693-point hybrid AF system with 425 contrast-detection areas maintains focus tracking during long sessions.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your workflow supports the camera’s file formats and the lens’s 82mm filter thread diameter. The included SD card uses UHS-I speeds; confirm your card reader and editing hardware can handle the data rates.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the a7C produce when recording 4K30p video for long sessions?

The camera uses a BIONZ X processor and full-frame Exmor R sensor without active cooling, so extended 4K30p recording generates noticeable warmth but remains silent since there is no fan.

What memory card do I need to start shooting with this kit?

A SanDisk 128GB Ultra card rated at 140MB/s is already included, so no separate purchase is required for stills or UHD 4K30p video.

Will my older Sony E-mount APS-C lenses work on this full-frame body?

Yes, they mount natively; the camera automatically switches to APS-C crop mode, delivering roughly 10MP images from the 24.2MP sensor.
