Questions about this item

What cables are included with the SIIG DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI splitter and what must be purchased separately?

The splitter unit is supplied; you will need to provide your own DisplayPort 1.2 cable from the graphics card and two HDMI cables to reach each monitor.

When should I choose this 2-port MST hub over a single-port adapter?

Choose this hub when you need two independent HDMI displays from one DisplayPort 1.2 output, supporting Mirror, Extended or Panoramic Video Wall modes.

What does the 3840×2160 @30Hz headline resolution mean for my daily setup?

Each connected HDMI monitor can run up to 3840×2160 at 30 Hz with 7.1-channel audio, suitable for office work and video playback but not high-refresh gaming.
