Handheld packaging tape dispenser

The Sparco 68535 is a handheld dispenser built for 3-inch core packaging tape. Its red plastic frame holds a single roll and includes a serrated blade for cutting. The tool is sold individually and arrives new.

Suits low-volume packing stations

This dispenser works well for occasional carton sealing in home offices, small warehouses or mail rooms. Operations that run multiple shifts or seal dozens of boxes per hour will need a heavier-duty unit with a pistol grip and brake tension control.

3-inch core compatibility

The only specification that determines fit is the 3-inch core diameter. Tape rolls with 1-inch or 2-inch cores will not sit on the mandrel, so verify the core size before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How do I load a roll into the Sparco 68535 dispenser, and what is the step people often miss?

Insert the roll so the tape unwinds from the bottom, thread it between the guide rollers and over the serrated blade, then pull the first strip to seat the core against the flange — skipping the threading step leaves the tape loose and it will jam.

What part of the Sparco 68535 will wear out first and need replacement?

The serrated cutting blade dulls with heavy use; when it stops making a clean cut, replace the blade assembly rather than forcing the tape.

What limit appears first when the Sparco 68535 is used continuously for high-volume sealing?

The plastic frame can flex under rapid, repeated pulls, causing the tape to track crookedly — that mechanical deflection is the first practical limit.
