Fastener folders for legal documents

Sparco SP17230 fastener folders secure legal-size papers inside the folder and prevent them from falling out. The built-in fastener lets you subdivide documents within a single folder for better organisation. Two-ply tabs resist wear from frequent handling. Supplied as a box of 50.

Suited for high-volume legal filing.

These folders suit offices that process large volumes of legal-format paperwork and need secure, subdivided storage. The 1/3-cut tab works with standard legal filing systems. Buyers who work exclusively with letter-size documents should look at something else. The single fastener limits the number of internal divisions.

Legal-size format with 1/3-cut tab

The folder is designed for legal-size paper and uses a 1/3-cut tab position for compatibility with standard legal filing equipment. Two-ply construction reinforces the tab edge. One fastener per folder provides a single subdivision point. Pack quantity is 50 per box.

Questions about this item

Does the 50-count box of SP17230 fastener folders include the fasteners already attached, or do I need to buy them separately?

The fasteners are built into each folder, so the box of 50 folders arrives ready to use with no extra fastener purchase required.

The listing mentions a two-ply tab and a single fastener — which version should I choose for heavy daily filing?

The SP17230 comes only in the two-ply tab, one-fastener configuration shown, so there is no alternative version to select for heavier use.

What does the 1/3-cut tab mean when the folders are in a legal-size drawer?

The tab is cut to one-third of the folder width, letting you stagger three tabs across the drawer for quick visual indexing of legal documents.
