Made for iPad 10.2" 2019–2021

This Speck EPAK468 case fits the 7th, 8th and 9th generation 10.2 inch iPad models released in 2019, 2020 and 2021. It is built for children and students who need a rugged shell that survives daily handling at home or in the classroom.

Three-layer drop protection

A flexible silicone inner layer and a hard polycarbonate outer shell absorb shocks from accidental drops and bumps. The hybrid construction weighs 0.465 kilograms and measures 2.6 by 21.1 by 27.2 centimetres, adding protection without excessive bulk.

Two-position kickstand for hands-free use

The integrated stand locks into vertical or horizontal angles so the iPad stays stable while watching videos, playing games or following lessons. No screen protector is included, so buyers wanting front-glass coverage must purchase that separately.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Speck EPAK468 rugged case on my 10.2 inch iPad and which step do people often miss?

Snap the iPad into the flexible silicone inner layer first, then press the hard PC outer shell over it until every corner clicks; the step most people miss is seating the silicone layer fully before adding the shell.

What part of this case will need replacement first with daily kid use?

The silicone inner layer absorbs repeated drops and will show stretching or tearing before the hard PC shell or the kickstand mechanism wears out.

What is the first limitation you hit when the kickstand is used continuously in both viewing modes?

The two-position hinge locks only at the preset vertical and horizontal angles, so you cannot fine-tune the viewing angle beyond those two fixed positions.
