Three-pole molded case breaker rated 100 A at 600 V AC with 25 kA interrupting at 240 V AC and fixed thermal-magnetic trip
The Square D HDL36100 is a three-pole molded-case circuit breaker rated at 100 A with a 600 V AC maximum. It belongs to the PowerPact H series and uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit with a fixed instantaneous setting. The frame size is 150 A and the breaker mounts free-standing. It is intended for three-phase AC distribution panels and similar line-protection applications.
The single figure that decides fit is the maximum AIR rating of 25 kA at 240 V AC. This interrupting capacity must meet or exceed the available fault current at the point of installation. The breaker also carries a 250 V DC rating, but the 240 V AC rating is the primary selection criterion for most panel builders. Verify system fault-current calculations before specifying this device.
The unit ships with line/load lug terminals already fitted, so no separate lug kit is required for standard cable connections. Terminal connection type is specified as lug, and the breaker uses an ABC phase connection sequence. Physical dimensions are 6.4 in height, 4.12 in width and 4.36 in depth, which determine panel cut-out and clearance requirements. No additional accessories or software are bundled.

It carries up to 100 A continuously per pole and opens the circuit if the load exceeds that value, using a thermal-magnetic mechanism with fixed instantaneous trip.
It is the maximum interrupting capacity; the breaker can safely clear a fault current up to 25 kA at 240 V AC, but cannot be applied where available fault current exceeds that figure.
The unit measures 6.4 in high, 4.12 in wide and 4.36 in deep with free-standing mounting, so compare those dimensions to your enclosure cut-out and clearance.
