  • Uniboot LC UPC connectors halve panel space used

  • OFNR riser rating meets in-wall fire codes

15 m OM4 LC-to-LC fibre cable

This 15 metre multimode cable uses LC connectors with UPC polish and an Erika Violet jacket to identify OM4 performance. The 50/125 micron core supports 100 G links over short distances. A uniboot design combines both fibres in one jacket for cleaner routing. OFNR riser rating allows installation in vertical shafts.

Ideal for data-centre patching

Installers needing single-fibre connectors or a different jacket colour should choose another cable. Buyers requiring outdoor or plenum-rated construction must select a product with those ratings. The fixed 15 metre length suits rack-to-rack runs but not longer campus spans.

Questions about this item

Will this 15 m cable reach between my floor-standing patch panel and the top-of-rack switch?

At 15 metres (49.2 ft) it spans a full rack row or floor-to-ceiling run without needing an extra jumper.

Can I plug this Erika Violet OM4 lead into the aqua OM3 cables already in my 50/125 µm plant?

Yes — both use 50/125 µm multimode fibre and LC UPC ferrules, so they mate directly while the OM4 cable supports 100 G speeds on the same links.
