1ft CAT6a LSZH patch cord for 10 GbE runs

This one-foot CAT6a cable carries 10 GbE signals at up to 500 MHz bandwidth. Its low-smoke zero-halogen jacket meets strict fire-safety requirements for plenum and confined spaces. The S/FTP shielding resists alien crosstalk in dense cable bundles. Snagless RJ-45 boots protect the latch during repeated insertions.

Rated for 100 W PoE with minimal heat build-up

The conductors support 100 W Power over Ethernet without exceeding temperature limits in typical indoor routing. LSZH material emits little smoke and no halogen gas if exposed to flame. Snagless design reduces connector damage that can increase contact resistance. Cable is not suited for outdoor burial or runs longer than the specified length.

Questions about this item

How do I install the snagless RJ-45 connectors on this 1ft CAT6a cable without damaging the latch?

Align the RJ-45 plug with the port, press straight in until the snagless latch clicks, and route the 1ft length so the S/FTP shielding is not sharply bent at the connector.

When will the LSZH jacket or S/FTP shielding on this 10 GbE 500MHz cable need replacement?

Inspect the black LSZH jacket annually for cracks or heat damage; replace the patch cord if the S/FTP shielding is exposed or if 100W PoE negotiation becomes unreliable.
