25 ft Orange Slim CAT6 Cable

This 25 ft orange slim CAT6 Ethernet cable uses 28 AWG bare copper conductors and a snagless RJ45 design. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in fire conditions. It supports 100 W Power over Ethernet for devices such as access points and cameras. The slim profile helps routing in tight cable trays or behind desks.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous 100 W PoE delivery the 28 AWG conductors carry the rated current without exceeding temperature limits defined for the cable category. The LSZH material maintains its low-smoke characteristic during prolonged heating. Snagless boots protect the latch during repeated re-seating in patch panels. The UTP construction relies on twist geometry to reject crosstalk over the full 25 ft length during extended high-throughput sessions.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 28 AWG cable generate when carrying 100 W PoE continuously?

The 28 AWG bare-copper conductors are rated for 100 W PoE, so heat rise stays within CAT6 limits during all-day operation.

What devices must I already have to use this 25 ft orange CAT6 patch cord?

Any two RJ45 ports — such as a switch, router, PC, access point or PoE camera — will connect directly with the snagless plugs.
