StarTech Cat5e 15 ft Orange Patch Cable

This StarTech Cat5e patch cable provides a 15 ft orange connection for Fast Ethernet networks. It terminates in RJ-45 male connectors on both ends and features a snagless design to protect the locking tabs during installation. The cable is green compliant.

Suited for Cat5e Fast Ethernet runs up to 15 ft

It suits installers who need a manufactured Cat5e patch lead in a distinct orange colour for colour-coded network management. Buyers requiring longer distances, higher category ratings such as Cat6 or Cat6a, or cables rated for in-wall or plenum installation should look at different products.

Category 5e rating determines supported speeds

The single specification that decides suitability is the Cat5e classification, which defines the cable's maximum bandwidth and supported network speeds. Verify that your network equipment and required throughput match this category before purchasing.

Does the RJ-45 connector work with standard Ethernet ports?

Yes, each end uses a standard RJ-45 male plug that fits any 8P8C Ethernet jack on routers, switches, PCs or patch panels.
