The StarTech C6ASPAT4BK is a four-foot Cat6a patch cord built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. Its aluminium-polyester foil shield blocks EMI and RFI so signal integrity holds in electrically noisy racks or offices. Both ends carry snagless RJ45 plugs that protect the latch during frequent moves. The 26 AWG stranded copper conductors keep the cable flexible for tight patch-panel runs.

Sustained 10 Gbps throughput

The cable is tested to ANSI/TIA-568-D Category 6 requirements, so it maintains 10 Gbps bandwidth over its full length without the error bursts that unshielded cords show under load. CMG-rated PVC jacket meets general-purpose fire codes for in-wall or floor routing. UL-listed 100 percent copper wiring (E132276-A) resists oxidation that degrades throughput over time. Shielding and stranded construction together prevent the crosstalk spikes that appear when adjacent cables carry heavy traffic.

100 W PoE and distance limit

The cord supports 100 W Power over Ethernet, letting it feed high-draw access points or cameras without a separate injector. Category 6a standards cap 10 Gbps operation at 100 metres, so this four-foot segment leaves ample headroom for the rest of the channel. Builders who need longer single-cable runs or outdoor-rated jackets must choose a different product. The PVC jacket is not plenum-rated, so air-handling spaces require alternative cable.
