Cat6 Keystone Coupler for Extending Runs

This white Cat6 keystone coupler joins two RJ45 patch cables to create a longer link. It mounts in a standard keystone wall plate or patch panel and accepts a male connector on each side. The plastic housing weighs approximately 8.5 g and carries RoHS compliance.

Suits Installers Needing a Female-to-Female Join

Ideal for technicians extending an existing Cat6 drop without re-terminating, or for adding a coupling point in a patch panel or surface box. Not for installers who require a shielded metal housing, a tool-less termination block, or a coupler rated for outdoor or plenum environments.

Cat6 RJ45 Female-to-Female Wiring Determines Fit

The coupler provides two female RJ45 ports wired for Cat6 performance, so the link stays within the category rating of the cables used. Verify that your wall plate or panel accepts standard keystone modules before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I choose this white keystone coupler or a different colour for my wall plate?

The white housing matches standard white wall plates and patch panels, keeping the installation visually consistent.

What does the Cat6 rating mean once this coupler is installed in a keystone cut-out?

It maintains Cat6 performance for the link, supporting Gigabit Ethernet speeds through the female-to-female RJ45 connection.

How does the RJ45 keystone interface affect what cables I can plug in?

Each side accepts a standard RJ45 plug, so any Cat6 or Cat5e patch cable with an 8P8C connector will seat correctly.
