A 20 ft orange Cat6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors, 24 AWG stranded copper, 250 MHz bandwidth and 100 W PoE support
The StarTech C6PATCH20OR is a 20 ft orange Cat6 patch cable built with 24 AWG stranded copper wire. It carries RJ45 connectors on both ends and supports Power over Ethernet up to 100W. The cable is rated for 250 MHz bandwidth and meets UL and ETL safety standards.
It replaces older Cat5 or Cat5e runs that top out at 1 Gbps and cannot carry high-power PoE. The jump is worth it when you need Multi-Gigabit speeds of 2.5, 5 or 10 Gbps over distances up to 160 ft, or when a device demands 100W PoE delivery.
The molded UTP construction plugs directly into any RJ45 port on switches, routers, access points or IP cameras. Its 20 ft length covers typical desk-to-wall or patch-panel runs while the stranded conductors keep the cable flexible for tight routing. It frees you from running separate power lines to PoE devices.

The cable uses RJ45 connectors on both ends, compatible with standard Gigabit Ethernet ports on routers, switches, and network cards.
Route the cable before snapping the molded RJ45 plugs into ports; the snagless boots protect the latch, but forcing the plug at an angle can bend the internal pins.
Replace it if the jacket shows cracks, the latch tabs break off, or PoE devices negotiate below 100 W, indicating conductor fatigue after repeated flexing.
