STARTECH C6PATCH50GR network ethernet cable 50 ft Cat6 gray

50 ft Cat6 patch cable for multi-gig networks

This 50-foot Category 6 patch cable uses 24 AWG stranded 100 % copper conductors and is rated for 10 Gbps up to 160 ft. It supports 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 Gbps links and carries 100 W Power over Ethernet. The moulded UTP jacket is gray and ETL verified.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The cable is passive and generates no heat or audible noise during operation. It delivers up to 100 W of PoE power without active cooling or external supply requirements. The UL-rated copper construction maintains signal integrity at 250 MHz and 550 MHz test frequencies.

Replaces shorter or lower-category runs

It upgrades older Cat5e or shorter Cat6 links when 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps throughput is needed over 50 ft. The jump is worth it for PoE++ devices, multi-gig switches or NAS links that exceed 1 Gbps. Not suited for buyers who need in-wall riser or plenum ratings, outdoor UV protection or lengths beyond 160 ft at 10 Gbps.
