The Cat 6 standard supports up to 250 MHz and enables 1/2.5/5 Gbps and 10 Gbps speeds up to 160 ft. At 5 ft this cable operates well within that limit, but longer runs beyond 160 ft will not sustain 10 Gbps. It does not support frequencies or speeds above the Cat 6 specification.
