1 ft Cat 6 Patch Cable

This one-foot Cat 6 patch cable provides Power-over-Ethernet-capable Gigabit network connections. It uses RJ-45 male connectors on both ends and features a moulded strain-relief design. The grey jacket suits standard office or rack installations where a short, certified link is required.

Installers needing a short certified link

Technicians running patch panels, wall plates or switch-to-device jumpers in tight cabinets will appreciate the minimal length. Builders who need longer runs, crossover wiring, outdoor-rated jackets or shielded variants should select a different cable type.

Moulded boots protect the connector

The moulded strain-relief boots reduce cable fatigue at the plug during repeated insertion cycles. This helps maintain reliable PoE power delivery and Gigabit signal integrity over the life of the installation.

Questions about this item

Do I need a device with an RJ-45 port to use this Cat 6 patch cable?

Yes, both ends are RJ-45 male connectors, so each connected device must provide a matching RJ-45 jack.

Will this 1 ft gray cable work with my older Cat 5e wall jacks and switch ports?

Cat 6 is backward compatible, so it will link at the highest speed the Cat 5e equipment supports.

How can I verify the cable is delivering Gigabit throughput after I plug it in?

Check the link LEDs on both ports — steady amber or green typically indicates a 1 Gbps connection.
