Product identity

The StarTech N6LPATCH3BL is a Category 6 patch cable built with 100 percent copper conductors and 24 AWG stranded wire. It terminates in RJ45 connectors with 50-micron gold-plated pins and a snagless strain-relief boot. The 90 cm blue jacket is LSZH, PVC-free EVA material rated for 650 MHz bandwidth and 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 55 metres. It also supports 100W PoE++ power delivery.

Pre-install checks

Verify that both endpoints use RJ45 ports and that the 3-foot reach spans the intended path without tension. Confirm the connected hardware negotiates 1, 2.5, 5 or 10 Gbps speeds to use the full 650 MHz headroom. Ensure the run stays within the 55-metre limit for 10G operation and that the LSZH jacket meets any local fire-safety requirements.

Thermals noise power

As a passive copper cable the assembly generates no heat and produces no audible noise during data transfer. The 24 AWG stranded conductors handle 100W PoE++ loads without measurable temperature rise under normal indoor conditions. No external power supply or cooling is required for any supported speed or power class.
