Ten-foot Cat6 patch cord with snagless moulded plugs, 24 AWG copper conductors and 250 MHz bandwidth
This StarTech Cat6 patch cord is a 10 ft orange UTP cable built with 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and a PVC jacket. It supports multi-gigabit rates of 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 Gbps at up to 160 ft and is rated for 100 W Power over Ethernet. The 250 MHz bandwidth suits enterprise and home networks.
Installers running access points, cameras or switches that need 100 W PoE will meet the power budget with this cord. Builders who require shielded cable for noisy environments or lengths beyond 160 ft should select a different construction.
The single specification that determines fit is the 100 W Power over Ethernet capability combined with 24 AWG copper conductors. If the connected gear draws more power or the run exceeds 160 ft at 10 Gbps, this cable will not meet the requirement.

The cable supports 10 Gbps up to 160 ft, so the 10 ft length is well within that limit.
The 24 AWG 100% copper conductors are rated for 100 W PoE, keeping resistive heating low during all-day operation.
Both ends need 2.5G, 5G or 10G Ethernet ports; the cable itself is Cat6 250 MHz rated and PoE ready.
