15 ft Cat6 UTP Patch Cable

The StarTech.com N6PATCH15WH is a 15 ft white Category 6 patch cable built for wired network connections. It uses 24 AWG stranded 100% copper conductors rated for 250 MHz bandwidth. The cable supports Multi-Gigabit speeds of 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 Gbps up to 160 ft. Molded snagless connectors and strain relief protect the termination points during routine handling.

Home and office Gigabit links

This patch cord suits anyone connecting a PC, router, switch or PoE device over a short 15 ft run. It handles 100W Power over Ethernet so access points and cameras can draw power through the same cable. Builders needing longer permanent links behind walls or in ceilings should look at solid-conductor bulk cable instead. Installers requiring LSZH or plenum-rated jackets for air-handling spaces must choose a different jacket type.

24 AWG stranded copper conductor

The stranded 24 AWG copper core gives the flexibility needed for patch-panel jumps and desk connections. Solid-conductor cable is stiffer and intended for fixed horizontal runs, so it is not interchangeable with this patch cord. The 100% copper construction meets the UL E132276-A rating for safety and performance. Verify that your installation calls for stranded patch cable before purchasing.
