20 ft Cat6 Ethernet Cable

This 20 ft Cat6 patch cable connects two RJ-45 network ports for Gigabit and Multi-Gigabit links. It uses 24 AWG stranded 100 % copper conductors and gold-plated contacts. The PVC jacket carries a CMG fire rating for general-purpose indoor runs. Snagless boots protect the locking tabs during routing and removal.

Build Integration

The cable plugs directly into any standard RJ-45 jack on switches, routers, patch panels or network adapters. It requires no external power and adds no active components to the link. PoE support up to 100 W allows it to carry both data and power to compatible cameras, access points or VoIP phones. The 20 ft length suits desk-to-wall or rack-to-rack connections without excess slack.

Thermals Noise Power

As a passive copper cable it generates no heat and produces no audible noise. Power draw is limited to the PoE current negotiated by the connected endpoints, up to the 100 W rating. The 250 MHz / 500 MHz rated bandwidth supports 10 Gbps operation up to 160 ft, so the 20 ft span operates well within specification.
