This StarTech Cat6a cable is built for installers and network managers who need 10 Gbps performance with low-smoke zero-halogen jacketing. The S/FTP shielding protects multi-gigabit signals from EMI and RFI in dense cable runs. It meets the demands of modern 1/2.5/5/10 Gbps infrastructure. Snagless RJ45 with strain relief

Molded snagless boots guard the connector latches during routing through trays, conduit or tight panels. Integrated strain reliefs prevent sharp bends at the termination points, reducing the risk of conductor fatigue over time. The shielded RJ45 plugs maintain grounding continuity through the link. This construction suits frequent moves, adds and changes in managed environments.

100 W PoE++ compliant

The cable complies with IEEE 802.3bt-2018 for Type 4 PoE, delivering up to 100 W to wireless APs, PTZ cameras or access-control hardware without separate power runs. It replaces older Cat5e or Cat6 links that cannot support multi-gigabit speeds or high-power PoE. The upgrade is justified when 10 Gbps throughput or 100 W endpoint power is required.
