A 9 ft Cat6a LSZH shielded patch cord supporting 10 Gbps and 100 W PoE++ with snagless RJ45 connectors
This nine-foot white Cat6a patch cord uses low-smoke zero-halogen jacket material and shielded twisted-pair construction. It targets installers who need 10 GbE performance in plenum or riser spaces where PVC cables are restricted. The cable carries 100 W PoE++ for Type 4 powered devices such as wireless access points and IP cameras.
The S/FTP shielding replaces unshielded Cat6 or Cat5e runs when electromagnetic interference from lighting ballasts or industrial equipment degrades throughput. The jump is worth it when the link must sustain 2.5, 5 or 10 Gbps over the full 9 ft without packet loss. LSZH jacketing also satisfies fire-code requirements that standard PVC cannot meet.
Molded snagless boots protect the RJ-45 latch during pulls through cable trays or tight conduit bends. Integrated strain relief prevents sharp bends at the connector that cause intermittent opens. The only common issue is the slightly larger diameter of shielded LSZH cable, which may require wider conduit fill calculations compared to thinner unshielded patch cords.

The 9 ft length and low-profile snagless boots let the cord route through standard 1 U patch panels and dense switch ports without blocking adjacent jacks.
Folding the drain wire back over the foil shield and seating it inside the metal RJ45 housing so the shield contacts the panel ground.
Inspect after any fire event, sharp bend kink, or connector latch failure; replace if the white jacket shows scorch marks, cracks, or the snagless boot no longer holds the tab.
