SKU CH-YMCF-D60V0 MPN NLYL-5F-CAT6A-PATCH

A 5-foot yellow Cat6a patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors rated for 10 Gbps, 500 MHz bandwidth and 100 W PoE delivery

  • Supports 10 Gbps networking with 500 MHz bandwidth
  • Snagless RJ45 connectors prevent latch damage during changes
  • S/FTP shielding resists interference for stable links
  • Handles 100 W PoE for high-power devices

5 ft yellow Cat6a patch cable

This 5 ft yellow Cat6a patch cable uses snagless RJ45 connectors and S/FTP shielding to support 10Gbps data rates at 500MHz. It handles 100W PoE and is built with 27AWG conductors in an LSZH jacket. The short length suits rack or desk connections where excess cable would clutter the path.

Builders needing longer runs

Installers who need runs beyond 5 ft should choose a different length, as this cable only reaches short distances. Users requiring unshielded UTP construction or a different jacket rating will not find those options here. Buyers who need pre-terminated fibre or outdoor-rated cable must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What RJ45 port speed do I need on my switch or NIC to use the 10G capability?

A 10GBASE-T port is required; a 1G port will work but limits throughput to 1Gbps.

Will this 500MHz S/FTP cable run reliably next to my older Cat5e patch leads in the same tray?

Yes, the S/FTP shielding prevents alien crosstalk so it coexists with Cat5e without performance loss.
