Space-Saving 9U Wall Cabinet

This 9U wall-mount enclosure holds servers or networking gear flush against the wall, freeing floor space in offices, closets or small server rooms. It ships fully assembled with a 1U shelf, cage nuts, screws and hook-and-loop cable ties. Lockable front and side panels secure mission-critical equipment while mesh doors and vented panels promote passive airflow.

Wall Strength and Mounting Depth

Verify that the mounting surface can support up to 200 lbs (90 kg) including the cabinet and all installed hardware. The adjustable rails slide between 6 inches and 14.6 inches deep, so measure your deepest device before ordering. Two-post rail design accepts both tapped holes and square cage-nut holes for flexible equipment mounting.

Passive Cooling and Access

Mesh front door and vented top and bottom panels allow natural convection without built-in fans, keeping noise at zero. Removable and reversible front door plus quick-release side panels give tool-free access for maintenance. Solid steel frame and 198.90 lb weight rating ensure stable operation under full load.

Questions about this item

Does the RK9WALM come with mounting hardware and a shelf, or do I need to buy those separately?

The package includes a 1U shelf, 36 cage nuts, 36 screws, two door keys, two side-panel keys and a roll of hook-and-loop fastener, so no extra hardware is required for basic installation.

Should I choose the 9U version or a different height for my patch panel and switch?

This model provides 9U of rack space; select it when your equipment fits within that height, otherwise choose a taller or shorter cabinet that matches your total U requirement.

What does the 14.6-inch adjustable depth mean once the cabinet is on the wall?

The mounting rails slide between 6 and 14.6 inches deep, letting you position gear flush to the wall or further out, while the 198.90 lb weight limit stays the same across the range.
