Share one DisplayPort monitor, keyboard, mouse and 7.1 audio across four computers with hotkey or push-button switching
Computer Connections 4 Ports
Style Single Monitor
The StarTech SV431DPUA lets one keyboard, mouse and DisplayPort monitor control four multimedia systems at 2560 x 1600 resolution and 60 Hz. It targets offices, medical imaging stations and digital-signage servers that need single-workstation access to multiple computers. The unit supports both Windows and Mac platforms through standard DisplayPort and USB connections.
Integrated 7.1-channel digital audio and 3.5 mm analog stereo plus microphone jacks route sound from the active system to one speaker set. A built-in USB 2.0 hub shares keyboards, mice and other peripherals across all four ports, removing the cost and clutter of separate devices for each computer. Hotkey and push-button switching changes the active channel instantly.
The package includes a universal power adapter, rubber feet and a manual for immediate desktop deployment. Front-panel LEDs show power, online and selected status for each port so operators can verify the active link at a glance. Buyers who need more than four computer connections or higher video resolutions cannot use this switch.
