UASP is not supported, so command overhead remains at the older BOT protocol level. Performance will drop further when the cable is used with USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 ports.

The USB 3.0 Type-A connector sets a hard ceiling of 5 Gbps on the connection, preventing the drive from reaching its full SATA III 6 Gbps potential.
