Simple Recording Tool

The SUMWELL Sound Button captures up to 30 seconds of audio with a single press. It runs on two AAA batteries and includes a 3.5 millimetre headphone jack for private playback. The red and silver ABS plastic housing measures 88 by 88 by 33 millimetres, making it easy to carry in a pocket or bag.

Consistent Playback Quality

A bottom-mounted switch toggles between record and play modes, preventing accidental overwrites during use. Volume remains loud and clear for the full duration of each session, and the internal microphone picks up speech best when you speak close to the surface. Replacing the batteries restores original output level when the sound begins to drop.

Check Your Setup First

Verify you have two AAA cells on hand, as none are supplied in the package. The 30‑second limit means the button suits short messages, reminders or sound effects rather than long lectures or meetings. Buyers who need extended recording time or built‑in rechargeable power should look for a different device.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the SUMWELL Sound Button produce during extended use?

The button has no moving parts and runs on two AAA batteries, so it generates no audible fan noise and negligible heat even if pressed repeatedly throughout the day.

What must I already own to start recording and playing back messages?

You need two AAA batteries and a small Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment; no computer, cable or software is required.

Will the 3.5 mm headphone connector on this button work with my older analogue headset?

The 3.5 mm jack is a standard stereo headphone output, so any wired headset or speaker with a matching plug will play back your 30-second recording.
