Supersonic SC-1080BT-BLK 9-Band Radio

The Supersonic SC-1080BT-BLK is a portable 9-band radio covering AM, FM and shortwave bands one through seven. It adds Bluetooth streaming, a USB input and a microSD card slot for playing audio from external sources. The unit weighs 1.31 and ships in black.

Suits listeners wanting multiple bands

Buyers who want a simple multi-band radio with wireless streaming and file playback from USB or microSD cards will find this model useful. It is not for users who need internet radio access, DAB+ reception or multi-room audio synchronisation.

9-band coverage decides suitability

The single specification that determines fit is the nine-band tuner covering AM, FM and SW1-7. If your listening requires those specific shortwave bands alongside standard AM and FM, this radio matches the requirement; if you only need FM or digital broadcasts, a different tuner type is appropriate.

Questions about this item
