It adds Bluetooth streaming from phones or tablets, AM/FM radio with a telescopic antenna and a 3.5 mm AUX input for wired sources. A carry handle and lightweight 2.6 lb build suit home, office or travel use.

Disc compatibility decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the disc formats supported: CD, CD-R and CD-RW only. Buyers who need DVD, MP3-CD or USB-mass-storage playback cannot use this unit. Programmable memory stores up to 20 tracks with repeat-one, repeat-all and skip functions for custom playlists.

Mains or battery power with modest output

RMS power is 2 × 1.5 W from the built-in speakers, delivering room-filling sound at moderate volumes without fan noise. AC operation uses the supplied 150 cm cord at 120 V 60 Hz; portable power requires six C cells (not included). No thermal concerns arise in normal indoor or outdoor listening.
