Questions about this item

Does the 24-pin connector on this 450w Gold unit wear out and need replacement?

The 24-pin connector is rated for the life of the power supply under normal desktop use; no scheduled replacement is required.

Will the 450w Gold rating hold during continuous load on a Lenovo Y900 or Y700?

The 450w Gold rating is the sustained output limit; the protection circuit will engage if the system draws more than 450 watts continuously.
