Supersuperuncle SFP optical module MM-550M-850-1.25G-C

SKU CH-8G9G-4Y67T

SFP optical module operates at 850 nm wavelength with 1.25 Gbps data rate over 550 m multimode fibre

  • Designed for FTM-8120C-SLG compatibility
  • Multimode operation at 850 nm wavelength
  • 550 m reach over multimode fibre
  • 25 Gbps data rate for gigabit links

SFP optical module for FTM-8120C-SLG

This SFP optical module is designed for the FTM-8120C-SLG platform and operates at a 1.25 Gbps data rate with an 850 nm wavelength. It supports multimode fibre links up to 550 metres. The component is supplied new and intended for server and networking equipment that uses this specific transceiver form factor.

Replaces legacy transceivers at 1.25 Gbps

The module serves as a direct replacement for older or failed SFP transceivers running at the same 1.25 Gbps speed on multimode fibre. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing links require an 850 nm wavelength and a 550 metre reach. It is not suited for single-mode fibre runs, longer distances, or higher data-rate standards.
