High-Visibility Orange Coverage

The Tarps Direct 12' x 20' orange poly tarp provides waterproof, acid, tear and mildew resistant protection at 3.3 ounces per square foot. UV-treated material and reinforced grommets make it suitable for covering woodpiles, outdoor furniture or equipment where high visibility is required.

Check Tie-Down Points and Final Dimensions

Grommets are placed every 36 inches and at each corner, so verify your structure has compatible anchor spacing. The listed cut size means the finished tarp will measure 6 inches or 3-5% shorter in each direction after hemming, so confirm the reduced coverage still meets your needs.

Upgrade From Standard Blue Tarps

This tarp replaces lighter-duty covers that lack UV treatment, acid resistance or high-visibility colour. The jump is worth it when durability against mildew and tearing matters, or when safety orange improves site awareness, but it is not for buyers who need a heavier industrial-grade weight or a precise finished size.

Questions about this item

What comes with the 12' x 20' orange poly tarp and do I need anything extra to secure it?

The tarp includes built-in grommets every 36 inches and at each corner for tie-downs. You will need to supply your own rope, bungee cords or straps to fasten it.

How do I decide between the 7-8 mil thickness and the 3.3 oz per square foot weight for my job?

Both figures describe the same tarp; 7-8 mil is the material thickness and 3.3 oz/ft² is the areal weight. Choose this grade when you need a lightweight, waterproof cover that resists acid, tearing and mildew.

What does the 12' x 20' cut size mean once the tarp is hemmed and on my woodpile?

Cut size is measured before hemming; the finished tarp will be 6 inches or 3-5 percent shorter in each direction, so the actual coverage is slightly smaller than the listed dimensions.
