Tarps Direct 6' x 20' Heavy Duty Silver Tarp

This Tarps Direct heavy duty silver tarp measures 6 feet by 20 feet and uses 6.0 oz polyethylene fabric rated at 11-12 mil thickness. The material is UV treated, waterproof, and resistant to mildew, acid, and tears. Rustproof aluminum grommets are placed approximately every 18 inches and at the corners for secure tie down points.

Shade and weather protection for outdoor equipment

Buyers needing a cover that blocks 100 percent of sun rays for decks, patios, vehicles, or firewood will find this tarp suitable. The silver finish on both sides reflects heat and keeps covered items cooler in direct sunlight, rain, or snow. Users who require exact cut dimensions matching the stated size should look elsewhere because this tarp measures approximately 6 inches or 3-5 percent shorter than the title size.

Cut size measures shorter than stated dimensions

The single specification that decides fit is the cut size, which will measure 6 inches or 3-5 percent shorter than the 6 by 20 foot title dimensions. Buyers must plan coverage area based on the smaller actual measurements rather than the nominal size.

Questions about this item

Will the 11-12 Mil polyethylene tarp overheat items left underneath it in full sun?

The silver coating blocks 100 percent of sun rays, keeping the covered area cooler even during all-day exposure.

What tie-down hardware do I need to secure the grommets spaced every 18 inches?

Rustproof aluminum grommets are built in; you only need rope, bungee cords or straps to fasten them to your frame or anchor points.

Can I use this 6' x 20' tarp alongside older canvas covers without damaging them?

The waterproof, mildew- and acid-resistant polyethylene will not transfer moisture or chemicals to adjacent fabrics, so it is safe to layer with older covers.
