Forest Green Medium Duty Tarp

The Tarps Direct 18 Ft x 24 Ft Forest Green Medium Duty Poly Tarp provides weather-resistant coverage for landscaping, construction, camping and equipment protection. Its forest green colour blends naturally with wooded surroundings while the polyethylene construction resists UV damage, water, mildew, acid and tears.

Upgrade From Economy Blue Tarps

This medium duty tarp replaces lightweight economy tarps when greater durability is required for extended outdoor exposure. The jump is worth it for projects needing a 10 x 10 weave count and reinforced hems that withstand repeated tie-downs and seasonal weather cycles.

Check Cut Size And Grommet Spacing

Verify that the finished dimensions, which measure approximately 6 inches or 3-5% shorter than the listed 18 Ft x 24 Ft cut size, still cover your intended area. Confirm that grommet spacing of roughly 36 inches matches your tie-down points and that the 4.5 oz weight is manageable for your handling needs.

Questions about this item

How far apart are the grommets on the 18 Ft x 24 Ft tarp?

Rustproof aluminum grommets are spaced approximately every 36 inches and at each corner, providing tie-down points around the full perimeter.

What is the correct way to secure this poly tarp so the grommets do not pull out?

Thread rope or bungee cords through every grommet around the edge rather than only the corners, and tension evenly to spread wind load across the reinforced hem.

How much smaller will the finished tarp be compared to the listed 18 Ft x 24 Ft cut size?

Expect the final dimensions to measure roughly 6 inches or 3-5 % shorter on each side after hemming and seaming.
