Heavy-duty polyethylene tarp

The Harpster Heavy Duty tarp measures six by twenty feet and uses an 11-12 mil black polyethylene sheet that weighs six ounces per square yard. A 14x14 weave count gives the fabric its tear and acid resistance while the UV treatment keeps the material from degrading in direct sunlight. It is sold new and ready for outdoor or indoor use.

Rustproof grommets every eighteen inches

Aluminium grommets are spaced roughly eighteen inches apart along the edges and reinforced at each corner so ropes or bungees have plenty of secure anchor points. The black surface blocks one hundred percent of the sun's rays to create cooler shade on decks, patios or job sites. Waterproof, mildew and tear resistance means the sheet handles rain, snow and wind without failing.

Ready for vehicles, firewood and campsites

No extra accessories or software are included; the tarp itself is the complete product. Its size and grommet layout make it practical for covering cars, boats and firewood stacks as well as for camping, hunting, fishing, beach trips, picnics and RV travel. Buyers who need a smaller sheet or a different colour will have to choose another model.

Questions about this item

How thick is the 11-12 mil poly tarp and what does that thickness mean for durability?

The tarp measures 11-12 mil thick with a 14x14 weave count and 6 oz per square yard fabric weight, giving it heavy-duty tear and puncture resistance for demanding outdoor use.

What are the grommet spacing and corner reinforcement details for tying down this 6x20 ft tarp?

Rustproof aluminum grommets are placed approximately every 18 inches along the edges and in each reinforced corner, providing multiple secure tie-down points across the full 6x20 ft dimensions.

What is the correct way to secure this tarp using the grommets, and what common mistake should I avoid?

Thread rope or bungees through the rustproof aluminum grommets spaced every 18 inches and at all four corners; the common mistake is skipping the intermediate grommets and only tying the corners, which lets wind lift the centre.
