12U Wall-Mount Cabinet for Network Gear

This 12U wall-mount server cabinet holds rack-mount switches, patch panels and small servers in offices or wiring closets. The locking glass front door and locking side panels restrict physical access to the equipment inside. It ships new and carries a three-year limited warranty with lifetime technical support.

SPCC Steel Frame Handles 133 lb Sustained Load

The cabinet is built from SPCC cold-rolled steel rated for a maximum loading capacity of 133 lb (60 kg). That rating applies to continuous static weight, so fully populated U spaces remain supported over time without bowing. The usable depth of 13.75 in front to back accommodates most standard-depth network hardware.

Quick-Release Side Panels Simplify Maintenance

Side panels open with a quick-release mechanism, letting technicians reach cabling and modules without removing the whole cabinet from the wall. Installers must provide suitable wall fixings for the 25 in high by 22.4 in wide by 17.7 in deep footprint and verify the structure can carry the loaded weight. Buyers needing deeper usable space or floor-standing capacity should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 12U cabinet generate when fully loaded all day?

The cabinet itself produces no heat; only the installed equipment generates warmth, so airflow depends on the devices you mount inside.

What mounting hardware must I already have to secure this 25-inch-high rack to the wall?

You need suitable wall anchors and screws for your wall type; the cabinet includes cage nuts and screws for equipment but not wall fixings.

Will my older 13.75-inch-deep servers fit in the usable space of this enclosure?

Yes, the 13.75-inch front-to-back usable depth matches that server depth exactly, so they will fit without modification.
