Product Identity

This TAURKENAM hybrid dome camera delivers 2.0 megapixel 1080p resolution and supports four analogue formats: HD-CVI, TVI, AHD and 960H CVBS. The OSD menu lets installers switch video modes by holding the button for about five seconds. It suits homes and small businesses that need a single camera compatible with multiple DVR types.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your DVR accepts 1080p resolution before ordering; the camera defaults to 960H mode and will not show 1080p images on a recorder that only handles lower resolutions. Power supply and coaxial video cables are required but not included, so budget for those separately. The 3.6 mm lens provides roughly a 90° field of view depending on the installation environment.

Build and Connectors

An IP66-rated metal-and-plastic housing protects the camera indoors or outdoors through rain or snow. A three-axis stand with a cable-through bracket simplifies aiming and keeps wiring tidy. Twenty-four IR LEDs give up to 80 ft of black-and-white night vision while the camera produces colour footage in daylight. The 105° wide-angle specification indicates generous coverage for a dome form factor.

Questions about this item

Does the camera come with a power supply and video cable, or do I need to buy them separately?

Power supply and coaxial video cables are not included and must be purchased separately. The box contains the dome camera with its metal and plastic housing, a 3-axis stand, and a cable-through bracket for weatherproof mounting.

My DVR only supports the older 960H analog format — will this camera work without changes?

Yes. The camera defaults to 960H CVBS mode out of the box, so it will display an image immediately on a 960H DVR. If you later upgrade to a 1080p-capable DVR, you can switch the camera to HD-CVI, TVI, or AHD 1080p using the OSD button.

What does the 80 ft infrared range mean for night viewing in a real installation?

The 24 IR LEDs provide up to 80 ft of black-and-white night vision; actual distance depends on scene reflectivity and ambient light. The 3.6 mm lens gives roughly a 90° field of view, while the housing is rated IP66 for outdoor rain and snow exposure.
