2-Post 8U Desktop Rack

This two-post rack provides 8U of 19-inch mounting space in a compact open frame. It is built for home offices, studios or small IT setups that need to organise network, AV or server gear without a full cabinet. The steel construction supports up to 110.2 lb of equipment.

Square-Hole Mounting with Cage Nuts

The rack uses square-hole rails and ships with cage nuts and screws for quick assembly. U heights are clearly marked on the posts to simplify alignment. The 360-degree open structure gives unrestricted access to cables and devices from any side.

Suits Desktop Deployments

Ideal for installers who want a free-standing rack that sits on a desk, table or floor. Not suited for environments that require lockable doors, side panels or higher load ratings than 50 kg. Buyers needing deeper enclosures or forced-air cooling should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 19-inch open frame need on a desk or floor?

The 360-degree open frame fits on a desk, table or floor with no side rails, so only the rack's own footprint is required.

How are the included cage nuts and screws used during assembly?

Snap each cage nut into a square hole at the marked U height, then fasten equipment with the supplied screws — skipping the cage nut is the common mistake.

When should the cage nuts be checked or replaced?

Inspect the cage nuts whenever equipment is removed or re-mounted; replace any that no longer grip the 19-inch square holes securely.
