260lb Load Limit and Mobility

The frame supports up to 260lbs of equipment while the open design gives unrestricted airflow around every device. Four locking casters let you roll the rack into position, and the top panel adds extra surface space for temporary tools or monitors.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 20U open-frame rack or a taller cabinet for my 19-inch gear?

The 20U open frame provides 20 rack units of vertical space and fits standard 19-inch equipment, making it a compact choice when floor space is limited.

What does the 260 lb load rating mean once I mount servers and shelves inside?

The 260 lb capacity covers the combined weight of all installed devices, the two included ventilated shelves and any accessories, so total mounted equipment must stay at or below that figure.

How do the four casters and open-frame design affect stability and airflow in practice?

Four locking casters let you roll the rack into position and lock it stationary, while the open-frame steel construction gives unrestricted front-to-back airflow around 19-inch servers and AV gear.
