4U aluminum open-frame rack

The TAURKENAM 4U aluminum 2-post open-frame rack rests on a desktop or floor and provides a compact frame for organizing audio, video, network and IT equipment. Its extruded aluminum construction supports stationary loads up to 200 lbs while keeping the overall footprint small.

Suits desktop or floor mounting with angle choice

Installers who need a lightweight rack that can sit on a desk or the floor and tilt to 65, 75 or 85 degrees will find the adjustable angles useful for cable routing and airflow. Buyers who require a fully enclosed cabinet, lockable doors or a higher load rating should consider a different form factor.

Adjustable angle positions at 65 75 and 85 degrees

The rack locks into three preset angles — 65, 75 and 85 degrees — and folds flat when not in use. This single adjustment range determines whether the unit fits the sight-lines and cooling path of a specific installation.

Questions about this item

How much desktop or floor space does the 4U open-frame rack need when folded flat?

The unit folds completely flat so it can be slid under a desk or against a wall; no extra depth is required beyond the rack’s own frame.

What is the correct order for setting the angle and tightening the hardware during assembly?

Choose 65, 75 or 85 degrees first, lock the side brackets in that position, then install the included cage nuts and screws for your equipment.

Which parts should be checked periodically to keep the rack supporting 200 lbs safely?

Inspect the angle-locking bolts and the cage-nut threads every few months; re-torque any that have loosened from vibration.
