5U Snap-On Vented Rack Panel

A five-unit blanking panel built for standard 19-inch server racks, enclosures, cabinets and flight cases. It uses lightweight abrasion-resistant nylon mesh to maintain airflow while keeping dust away from internal equipment. The panel is designed and manufactured in the USA.

Snap-On Access With Included Hardware

Four 10-32 rail screws and snap-button fasteners let installers fit or remove the panel without tools. This speeds up routine maintenance and component swaps inside the rack. The mesh construction stays in place while still giving clear visibility and airflow to the gear behind it.

8.75-Inch Height For 5U Spacing

The panel occupies exactly 5U of vertical rack space, measuring 19 inches wide by 8.75 inches tall. It fills gaps between active devices to prevent hot-air recirculation in standard 19-inch frames. Builders needing solid metal blanks or different unit heights will need a different panel type.

Questions about this item

How often should the nylon mesh fabric be replaced?

The abrasion‑resistant nylon mesh is built for long‑term use; no scheduled replacement interval is defined by the manufacturer.

What limits continuous airflow through the 5U vented panel?

Airflow is limited only by the mesh openness and the 19 inch rack aperture; the panel adds no fan or filter resistance.

Does the snap‑on panel generate any noise or heat during all‑day operation?

The panel has no moving parts and no power draw, so it produces zero noise and no heat of its own.
