  • Lightweight ABS construction for easy transport
  • Standard 19" threaded zinc-plated rails for secure mounting
  • Removable front and rear covers for full access
  • 48 rack screws included for immediate installation
  • Compact 14.25" depth fits tight spaces

Lightweight 6U Server Rack

This 6U server rack uses a moulded ABS shell to keep weight low while providing standard 19-inch mounting. Threaded zinc-plated steel rails are field replaceable and accept 48 included rack screws. Removable front and rear covers give full access to both sides of the equipment.

Shallow-depth rack for compact installs

The 14.25-inch depth suits networking gear, audio processors and shallow servers where floor space is tight. It will not accommodate deep chassis, full-length GPUs or high-density blade systems that need more rail clearance.

Six rack units of usable height

The 10.5-inch internal height holds up to six 1U devices or a mix of 2U and 3U units. Once the six units are filled, no further vertical expansion is possible without adding another rack.

Questions about this item

What 19-inch rack-mount equipment do I need to already own to fill this 6U case?

Any standard 19-inch rack-mount device that fits within the 14.25-inch depth and does not exceed the 6U (10.5-inch) vertical space will mount on the included threaded rails.

Can I keep using my existing 19-inch rack screws with the zinc-plated steel rails supplied here?

Yes, the rails use standard 19-inch threading, so your current rack screws will work; the case also includes a pack of 48 Gator rack screws if you need extras.

How can I confirm the twist latches and removable covers are secured correctly after I load the rack?

Close both front and rear covers, engage each heavy-duty twist latch until it locks firmly, then verify the covers sit flush with the case body and cannot be pulled open by hand.
