9U Portable Server Rack

This 9U open-frame rack holds up to 132 lbs of 19-inch IT, telecom or A/V gear. Adjustable rails accept equipment from 2.5 to 22.6 inches deep in 1.5-inch steps. Swivel casters and side handles let you move the unit between locations without tools.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Heavy-duty cold rolled steel construction and perforated top and bottom vents keep airflow steady during continuous operation. Cable slots on the top and bottom maintain organised routing so airflow paths stay clear over long deployments.

Installation and Common Issues

Rails slide into the 1.5-inch increment holes and lock with thumbscrews; no special hardware is required. The open frame offers no front door, so dust-prone sites need external filtration. Casters lack a locking spec, so verify stability on uneven floors before loading.

Questions about this item

How much heat builds up inside the TAURKENAM 9U rack when it runs fully loaded all day?

Perforated ventilation on the top and bottom sides promotes airflow through the open frame, helping cool networking equipment continuously.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install gear in the 19-inch rails?

The rack complies with EIA/ECA-310-E spacing, so standard 19-inch cage nuts or screws for your servers and switches are all that is required.

Will my older 19-inch telecom shelves fit the adjustable rails set at 22.6-inch depth?

Yes, the rails adjust from 2.5 to 22.6 inches in 1.5-inch increments, matching legacy 19-inch equipment depths.
