Compact dual-pack climate monitor

The Taylor 2-Pack Mini Digital Thermometer Hygrometer provides simultaneous temperature and humidity readings on a clear LCD. Two units let you track conditions in separate locations such as a greenhouse, guitar case or reptile terrarium. Measurements switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius to suit any preference. The compact black bodies fit unobtrusively on shelves or inside small enclosures.

Everyday thermal behaviour

Each unit updates its sensor data automatically every 10 seconds for near real-time awareness. The operating range spans 32 °F to 158 °F with a temperature accuracy of ±1.8 °F and a humidity accuracy of ±3–5 %RH across 10–99 %RH. A single LR44 button cell powers the device for up to 10 months of continuous use. Silent solid-state operation adds no audible noise to quiet rooms.

Sustained load reliability

During extended deployments the hygrometers maintain consistent 10-second refresh cycles without drift beyond the stated accuracy bands. The alkaline cell chemistry supports the full 10-month lifespan even when the display remains active around the clock. Units continue to function reliably at the upper limit of 70 °C ambient temperature. No moving parts means long-term stability in humid or dusty environments.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the thermometer hygrometer and what step do people often miss?

Peel the backing from the included double-sided tapes and press the unit firmly onto a clean, dry surface; the step many miss is waiting a few seconds for the adhesive to bond before letting go.

When will the LR44 button cell need replacing and how do I know?

The battery lasts up to 10 months; replace it when the LCD dims or readings stop updating every 10 seconds.

What is the first measurement limit reached during continuous use in a hot environment?

The operating temperature tops out at 70 °C (158 °F); beyond that the sensor stops reporting accurately.
