Two-pack round hygrometer thermometer

This Taylor MWT02R02-4 pack contains two compact digital units that display temperature and relative humidity. Each meter switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius with a single button. They suit hobbyists who need ambient monitoring in small enclosed spaces such as reptile jars, 3D-printer filament boxes or instrument cases.

Dual LR44 cells extend runtime

Every unit ships with one installed LR44 button cell and one spare, giving up to nine months of continuous operation before a change is needed. Readings refresh automatically every ten seconds, so the display stays current without user intervention. The spare cell removes the urgency of sourcing replacements immediately.

Verify mounting and range fit

Confirm the 58-millimetre round face fits the intended jar lid, terrarium wall or case interior before ordering. The sensors cover minus 58 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and 10 to 99 percent relative humidity with stated accuracies of plus or minus 1 degree and plus or minus 5 percent RH respectively. Environments outside these limits will not read correctly.

Questions about this item

How often will the LR44 button cells need replacing in the round hygrometer thermometer?

Each unit ships with one LR44 and one backup button cell; the manufacturer states the combination provides up to 9 months of operation before replacement is needed.

What is the widest temperature swing the round hygrometer thermometer can measure before it reaches its limit?

The sensor covers a range from -58 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, so that span is the first hard limit under sustained use.

Does the round hygrometer thermometer produce any audible noise or noticeable heat while running continuously?

The device has no moving parts and draws only micro-power from a button cell, so it runs silently and adds no perceptible heat to the monitored space.
